Icarus Awards

“The Icarus Award, named after the legendary figure from Greek mythology, is given to any of our satirical stories that unintentionally mirror reality. Just as Icarus flew ambitiously close to the sun, only to face unintended consequences, this award celebrates satires that, in their quest to comment on society, end up presciently predicting it. It is a testament to the blurred lines between imaginative jest and the unpredictable turns of real life.”
